Echoes of Ukrainian Modernism

Music and poetry inspired by the great explosion of modern Ukrainian culture in the 1920s. Contemporary compositions and improvisations, interspersed with poetry in translation. Artists include Julian Kytasty, Mike Andrec and New York singer, spoken word artist and composer Gisberg, among others

Saints and Sinners: Songs of Worship, Penitence and Celebration
Thursday, May 17th 7:00PM
Devotional songs from the oral tradition of the kobzari (itinerant bards) and from Ukraine’s baroque composers. Voices, flutes, baroque lute, banduras, lira, and more.

Tickets $15.00; Museum and CTMD members $13.00; seniors and students $10.00.
