Enter a world where the rhythmic sounds of congas and horns permeate the streets of New York City. More than a class, this is an experience where we learn through music, dance, fashion and film. We journey through Cuba, Mexico City, Bronx, and Harlem-to the Lower East Side, a community where African-American, Puerto Rican, Cuban, and Jewish communities found a common language through the art.
This workshop will be led by Samuel Coleman, Shana Maria Weaver, and Derrick Washington.
