Zerd is a New York-based Buryat-Mongolian ensemble of singers, dancers, and horsehead fiddlers whose traditional music has its roots in Inner Asian nomadism. Their goal is not only to preserve Buryat-Mongolian customs and traditions, but also to introduce and share thousands of years of rich heritage and culture to the world. They have performed at numerous cultural festivals throughout New York and New Jersey, including Carnegie Hall.
