As the Summer of 2021 winds down, CTMD is so proud of the teachers of the FolkCOLOMBIA School/Escuela of Music and Dance, who, following safety and health protocols, gave in-person classes at IS 145, JHS 217, and the Young Women’s Leadership School. Students were immersed in Colombian rhythms, Latinx dance, and Latin Beat Loops.

The FolkCOLOMBIA School/Escuela of Music and Dance (Escuela) teachers; Rafa Leal, Isaac Sawyer, and Lorena Ayub are simply the best! Thanks to Queens Community House staff for their ongoing support.
