Dressed in traditional hand-embroidered costumes, Cheres performs instrumentals and lyrical songs using traditional wooden flute (sopilka), clarinet, ocarina, telenka (a one-holed end-blown flute), accordion, and percussion instruments. This episode was created in partnership with the Flurry Festival and the Bronx Music Heritage Center.
